Domestic abuse is a serious issue for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community. It’s been reported that approximately 25% of LGBTQ individuals experience violent, abusive, or threatening relationships from partners or ex-partners.
There are additional factors that may act as barriers for the LGBTQ community to seek help:

Our service is free, confidential, non-judgmental, and independent, available to anyone affected by domestic abuse who lives or works in Reigate & Banstead, Tandridge, or Mole Valley. If you live outside of these areas. Refuge is a nationwide charity that will be able to provide support wherever you live.
