Welcome to the Professionals Zone

ESDAS provides specialist, trauma-informed support to anyone aged 16 or over living or working in Reigate & Banstead, Tandridge, or Mole Valley who has been affected by domestic abuse. This includes all forms of abuse – physical, emotional, sexual, financial, and technology-facilitated abuse – regardless of gender, sexuality, religion, or mental and physical health.

Our approach is strengths-based, needs-led, and survivor-centred. We offer a free, confidential, non-judgmental, and independent service where survivors are believed, listened to, and supported both emotionally and practically. Support may include:

  • Risk assessment and safety planning.
  • Housing and benefits advice.
  • Support around children and young people affected by abuse.
  • Guidance on legal options.
  • Digital and technology safety advice.

Referring a survivor to ESDAS

  • We accept referrals from statutory, voluntary, and community sector professionals.
  • Consent from the survivor is essential before making a referral.
  • Survivors can also self-refer directly to our service.
  • Professionals should share our contact details with the survivor and, if appropriate, offer to make a warm introduction.
  • If the survivor you’re working with is not ready for us yet, we can help you to help support the survivor by providing case advice, we can do this anonymously.
