We are delighted to share that our short film “From Darkness to Light: A Survivor’s Journey – When you’re ready, we’re here” has been selected as a finalist in the 2026 Smiley Charity Film Awards.

A huge thank you to everyone who voted, shared, and supported our film. You have helped raise awareness of the journey survivors take through our service, breaking down barriers and encouraging those experiencing abuse to reach out for support.

The Smiley Movement was founded on the belief that the world is full of inspiring stories that deserve to be told. Their mission is to amplify positive news that uplifts, motivates, and sparks action, from individuals making meaningful change to communities coming together with kindness, innovation, and resilience.

Now in their eighth year, the Smiley Charity Film Awards have become the world’s largest cause‑based film campaign, supporting more than 5,000 charities and engaging over one million people through public voting.

Judging for this year’s awards will take place from 18 February to 4 March 2026.

Thank you again to the incredibly brave survivors who told their stories, to the staff involved, and to Your Marketing Team, Reigate and Lee from Agility Films for the creation of this film.
