We offer the following posts, which are subject to Section 7(2) (e) of the Sex Discrimination Act (Women Only). Our premises are situated in Redhill but you will also work away from the office.

 

ADULT & CHILDREN’S SERVICES MANAGER

£28,820 - £29,820 for 35 hours per week

Could you supervise and support our Adult & Children’s Outreach team to deliver the highest quality services to survivors of domestic abuse and their children? You will have previously held a position of responsibility, including the management of personnel, projects, performance & finance. You must be able to support staff working within a challenging and complex area of work and to work effectively and diplomatically with a range of different statutory agencies, voluntary organizations, groups & individuals. Some knowledge of working with survivors of domestic abuse, or other disadvantaged/marginalized groups and an understanding of the importance of risk identification, assessment & management is essential. A current driving licence and use of a car is essential.

DOMESTIC ABUSE OUTREACH WORKER x 2

£20,950 - £21,950 (dependent upon experience)

35 hours per week

And pro rata

28 hours per week fixed 12 months maternity cover starting November’17

 

You will join an innovative, highly motivated, professional team and will be required to work directly with individual clients and liaise with other agencies and organisations such as the police, housing, health, social care and legal services. It is essential that you have an ability to listen, to communicate empathetically, are non-judgemental and are aware of the importance of confidentiality. Experience of working with survivors of domestic abuse, and/or Independent Domestic Violence Adviser training qualification or equivalent is essential. Training and induction will be provided and we actively encourage the continuous personal development of all our staff. A current driving licence and use of a car is essential.
